Kyohei Okubo received his Ph.D. from University of Tsukuba in 2017. He was a JSPS postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo (2017-2018) and then was an assistant professor at Tokyo University of Science (2018-2023). He joined Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Tokyo Institute of Technology as an assistant professor in 2023. His research interests span the fields of biosensor and bioimaging: silicon photonics, plasmonics, biomedical devices, drug-delivery systems, and magnetic nanoparticles.
