Profile Summary

Dr. Shaolong Gong is a full professor at the Wuhan University, China. He received his Ph.D. in materials physics and chemistry from the Wuhan University in 2012. After two-year postdoctoral study at the University of Toronto with Prof. Zheng-Hong Lu, he joined the faculty of the Wuhan University as an associate professor in 2014 and was promoted to a full professor in 2020. His research interests are centered on the molecular design and synthesis of innovative, functional materials for applications in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic photovoltaics. The focus of his current research is on constructing new organic emitters for OLEDs, understanding the relationship between molecular structure and optoelectronic properties, and developing device architectures that optimize optoelectronic performance.
