As the special type optical glass materials, the optical and chemical durability of SiO2-B2O3-BaO-TiO2 glass doped with TiO2 is important. In this paper, the optical and chemistry stability was studied on SiO2-B2O3-BaO-TiO2 glass doped with 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, and 12% TiO2. The results showed that TiO2 content had influence on the density、 the hardness、the thermal expansion coefficient、the refractive index and the water resistance of SiO2-B2O3-BaO-TiO2 glass. With the increase of B2O3 content, the density, the hardness, the refractive index, the water resistance of SiO2-B2O3-BaO-TiO2 glass increase. The thermal expansion coefficient of SiO2-B2O3-BaO-TiO2 glass decreases firstly, and then increases with increasing the TiO2 content.
