Although many video encryption algorithms can meet the requirement in large data size and high real-time demand, there is still some room for improvement in encryption efficiency. On the other hand, traditional software implementations of cryptographic algorithm is insecure where hostile users or malicious software may control the execution environment. The objective of this study is to propose a new selective encryption algorithm based on white-box AES. The experimental results prove that our algorithm has achieved good performance in the aspects of many evaluation criteria. What’s more, we introduce white-box AES to enhance the security of our algorithm for the more realistic white-box attack context.
