Fei is an incoming assistant professor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at University of California, Irvine. She is completing her postdoctoral research at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris working computational imaging and neuromorphic computing. Fei obtained her Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2021, with thesis work on deep tissue optical imaging tool development with short-wave infrared light and adaptive optics. Her current research interest is in computational and hardware optical tool development for enhanced imaging, sensing and information processing for real-world applications and fundamental science.
